Amanda Horne is an accredited executive coach and facilitator. Drawing from 30 years of corporate experience, she works with executives, managers, leaders and teams to help them create the organisational conditions in which they and their people can engage in meaningful, rewarding and productive work. Mary has worked in the health and community services industry for over 30 years. She has extensive experience in executive management, population health planning, strategic planning, staff development, community development, education and training, quality improvement, project management, research and Vocational Education and Training. She is currently lecturing in a Bachelor of Applied Management course and undertaking a Graduate Certificate of Education (Tertiary).

Mary’s particular expertise include: strategic planning utilsing an Appreciative Inquiry Approach, community/consumer engagement, workforce redesign, population health planning and research. Her special interests include designing workforce capability framework and strategic planning that are aligned to the organisation’s strengths and strategic plan, and constructivist pedagogy in the e-learning environment.  Mary and her husband share responsibility for an Embryo Transfer beef enterprise on their property in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains.

Her career highlights include: a range of publications in peer reviewed journals, graduating with a research masters, president of Victorian Quality Improvement of Community Services Association (QICSA) Council (3 years), honorary appointment within the faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences as a Fellow – University Of Melbourne and the opportunity to live, work, love and learn in a beautiful part of rural Australia.

Terry has undertaken advanced Appreciative Inquiry training at Case Western Reserve University.

He has a background in organisational transformation and change, strategy, business advisory roles and programme management. From his experience across 100+ organisations, Terry observes that one of the hallmarks of highly successful organisations is courageous leadership that allows staff and stakeholders to have a meaningful voice. He is passionate about developing high-performing teams and organisations, where staff are motivated and empowered to achieve extraordinary results. Terry has a great rapport with people and enjoys getting to the point and making things happen. He is a qualified chartered accountant, previously with one of the “big four”.

Michaela’s extensive experience in the disability sector and her passion for all people to be valued as contributing citizens makes her a committed and highly regarded member of the Pathways team.  She is dedicated to sharing her experiences (professionally and personally), supporting people to lead inclusive self-directed lives, developing partnerships and enhancing leadership via strengths focused practices.

Michaela has worked at all levels within organisations, leading the cultural change processes to embed personalisation and community inclusion.  Beginning in 2006, Michaela lead the implementation of Person Centred Practices at Sunnyfield, a large non-government service provider organisation.  Establishing a team of 6 Person Centred facilitators, she was the principal advisor in the organisation to develop a strategic commitment of becoming a Person Centred Organisation; the first organisation to do so in NSW.  Under Michaela’s guidance, Sunnyfield became the lead organisation (in NSW) in Person Centred Practices and was often sort by government and other organisations for her knowledge and experience.

Michaela partnered with Helen Sanderson Associates Australia in the implementation of Person Centred Thinking Training and Train the Trainer project for Ageing Disability and Home Care (ADHC) Community Access teams across the state.  This saw 900 staff trained in Person Centred Thinking and 20 staff participate in the Train the Trainer program.

Michaela has strong networks nationally and internationally in the areas of Person Centred Practices, Asset Based Community Development, Servant Leadership and Strengths Focused practices.  Michaela has lead the establishment of the NSW Learning Community for Person Centred Practices, is an active member of The (International) Learning Community for Person Centred Practices, The Down Under Institute and In-Control Australia.  She leads and contributes to the organisation of national and state conferences and events that champion inclusion and strengths focused practices.  The membership of these groups includes people with disabilities, families, local and international leaders, advocates, government, service providers and community members that share the same values and principles.

She is a skilled facilitator and trainer of Person Centred Thinking and Planning including Maps, Paths, Lifestyle Planning and Support planning, Community Connecting and Inclusion, Coaching and Mentoring, Team Building and Planning, Solution Focused meetings and communication skills, Servant Leadership, Partnership Building, World Café and Appreciative Inquiry.  She has worked in the disability sector in NSW (Australia) for over 18 years, has presented at many State and National Conferences and facilitated projects and training for government and non-government organisations.
