Forum Participant List

One of our participants emailed this request:

One thing I would love if it was possible is a simple list of the names of those who were there. No contact details or anything but just a reminder of the names. I look at the photos and the names elude me. I’m sure a list would trigger my memory.

As others may also find this helpful, we’ve uploaded a pdf file with a list of all the forum participants.  There are no contact details (for privacy reasons);  just names, organisations and the state in Australia from which people came.

Inaugural Appreciative Inquiry Forum: 6 October 2010

On 6 October 2010, 45 people gathered at the Abbotsford Convent in Melbourne for the very first Appreciative Inquiry Forum – Exploring Appreciative Inquiry in Australia.

The majority of participants were from Victoria, but there were a number of folk from other states as well.

Many others, both in Australia and internationally, sent their apologies, but wanted to know the outcomes of the forum and any future activities or events that may emerge.

So on this site you will find:

  • An overview of the ‘story of the forum’ and its background
  • A summary of the ideas that emerged
  • A photo gallery

Nine people at the forum, representing three states, have volunteered their time and energy to be part of a ‘working party’ that will explore moving things forward from here. There will be more news as a result of their efforts – and more opportunities to become involved for those working with or interested in Appreciative Inquiry in Australia.

As this news emerges, it will be added to this website.  There is also a flash presentation still to come, combining images of the forum and some of the ‘voices’ of those present on the day.
